Wilder World Kinetic Glove

Here are some shots of the Kinetic Gloves I designed and built for the project.

The concept behind the gloves was to create a tool that allowed players to interact with and collect assets at a distance. Rather than physically grabbing objects, the player could reach out and, almost like a magnetic force, pull assets toward them—functioning as a kind of magnetic grappling system.

From a design perspective, I wanted the gloves to feel powerful and grounded in the world’s technology, with layered mechanical elements that suggest both control and force. The goal was to make the functionality readable while keeping a strong, distinctive silhouette.
